Historical Society News
11.11.14: Kathy, an archivist from Becton Dickinson and Company (BD) stopped by to donate items for our collection which included a glass syringe and thermometer which were manufactured in East Rutherford. An ACE Bandage was also donated for our collection. On behalf of the Historical Society, we are grateful that BD continues to keep our small community in mind!
10.18.14: The monument honoring Anthony Gallo was unveiled at the Grove Street Park dedication ceremony today. The Grove Street Park is now officially named after Anthony Gallo. Thank you to all who helped make this a reality and supported this dedication by attending this event.
9.12.14: Click on the link for our store to purchase Borough ornaments of either the Municipal Building or McKenzie School. We also now have a Zazzle store where you can purchase shirts or mugs with the East Rutherford Historical Society logo. Proceeds go towards the East Rutherford Historical Society.
9.10.14: We are happy to announce that the dedication ceremony for Anthony Gallo Park (On Grove Street between Mozart and Clinton Place) will be on Saturday, October 18th at 1pm. Additional information to follow.
8.19.14: Please note, our meetings will resume in September on the 2nd Tuesday of each month starting at 7 pm in the Civic Center. All residents are welcome to attend.
